Hello families and friends,
Today we had another spelling quiz of our word wall words. This is a great resource for the students to use when they are having trouble spelling words, and for being able to recognize their familiar words. After that we continued practicing with half of the group doing Read to Self, and half of the group doing Read to Someone. Next week we will continue practicing using our whisper voices for our buddy reading time. Then we had a "snovie" and watched the Its The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. After that the students got to enjoy their first day of Friday Clubs. Ask your child what they did today.
Thank you again to those of you who sent in pumpkins for us to use on Monday. We have 11 pumpkins between our two classes now! The students are going to have a fun time.
For Monday, the students are allowed to bring their costumes to put on in the afternoon. It should be something that they are able to put on over their clothes, and that they will not require help with putting on or taking off. Please no masks or weapons as well.
