Hello families and friends,

Today we started by practicing our Read to Self skills.  Then we talked about the meaning of responsibility.  We used our ideas to create a Venn diagram showing what our responsibilities look like at home and at school.  After our snack we looked at some different stations exploring life in the grasslands.

In the afternoon we started with our words of the week.  Our words of the week for this week are "go", "we", "in", and "no" for grade ones, and "please", "what", "all", and "out" for grade twos.  Then we continued working on our Making 10 strategy in math with another word problem.  We will continue this work tomorrow.  After that we had some buddy time with Mrs. Boutilier's class doing some art.  We finished off our day with phys. ed. and music.

Photo order forms have gone home.  These are due back by Wednesday, October 26th.
