Hello families and friends,

We started our day today working on our writing about music.  Ms. Handelsman also came to help with some recording by asking the question "What is important to you about music?"  Ask your child what they said.  In the comments below, post your answer.  After that we joined Mrs. Sloane's class for music to practice our songs that we will be singing for the assembly on Music Monday.  This is on Monday, May 1st, just one week away.  Please help your child practice these songs; a link to each of the songs can be found on the post from April 18th.  We all got a booklet today with the words to help us with practicing.  After music class we worked on finishing up our music writing and then started a music word search for word work.  We finished the morning with Read to Someone.  In the afternoon we started with some Read to Self before we joined our buddies to continue our animal research.  Then we watched a video on how a plant grows and started adding some labels to our tree picture we did last week.  Then in gym we worked on basketball skills.

A reminder that Scholastic Book orders are due back tomorrow.
