Hello families and friends,

This morning we started our day off with a story, and then we wrote about what we did this weekend.  Then we had a chance to share what we wrote about.  After that we had an assembly.  We learned about peace through a book that Ms. Tuli shared with us, the song Peace in My Fingers.  And we also the Entertainment books.  These are in our backpacks.  If you are not going to be ordering one, make sure that all of the things in the bag come back to Mr. Soulliere.

In the afternoon we did some work with the calendar, and starting making a temperature graph.  We will be doing this throughout the year so that we can see the changes that happen.  Then we worked on the /p/ sound.  In math we practiced representing numbers using snap cubes.  Then in gym we played with the parachute.

Today in our backpacks we have the Entertainment books, and the permission forms for Inline Skating.  If you are able to help out for Inline Skating please email Mr. Soulliere at <gasoulliere@cbe.ab.ca>.  Our class will be having our lessons in the afternoon on Wednesday, September 21st and Tuesday, October 11th, and in the morning on Friday, September 30th.  Please have the permission forms filled out and returned by this Wednesday, September 14th.
